Susan is a lifelong wedding professional with more than 40 years of experience in event planning, consulting, and nonprofit leadership. In 2008, she founded That’s It! Wedding Concepts, a full-service wedding planning and design company serving Central PA, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, Hershey, and surrounding areas, as well as couples planning weddings throughout Pennsylvania and beyond.
You may even recognize Susan's name from my Broadway Musical Styled Shoot Series. She provided the creative vision and design concepts for the Mamma Mia!, Oklahoma! and West Side Story inspired shoots. This is just a taste of what she is capable of.

Since founding That’s It!, Susan has produced outstanding weddings across Eastern and South-Central Pennsylvania, Northern Maryland, Washington, D.C., New York, North Carolina, Texas, and destination locations worldwide. Her goal is to exceed expectations and create weddings that are as meaningful, seamless, and unique as the couples she serves.
As a Central Pennsylvania wedding planner and designer, Susan blends the roles of consultant, coordinator, and planner into a highly personalized experience. She makes two promises to every couple: first, to remove stress from the planning process, and second, to help them fully enjoy the excitement and joy of bringing their wedding vision to life.
Susan considers it a privilege to serve as a trusted resource, advocate, and support system for her couples. Known for her compassion, honesty, insight, and humor, she is often affectionately described as a “Nuptial Engineer” or even a “Fairy Godmother.” As the That’s It! Wedding Concepts motto says, it is always “Your Wedding – Your Way!”
A Texas native who relocated to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 2003, Susan remains deeply involved in the Central PA community through nonprofit board service, gala production, and fundraising. Her commitment to community, combined with her decades of wedding expertise, makes her a respected and trusted professional for couples planning weddings throughout the region.
