Who We Are

As a New England native, I spent my summers visiting my grandparents here in Central Pennsylvania. One of my core memories as a child is being mesmerized by the hundreds of fireflies lighting up those warm PA nights. To me, the firefly (Pennsylvania’s state insect), is the perfect symbol for weddings—glowing with romance and a touch of magic.

Now, as a proud Central PA resident, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for this community and the incredible local businesses that bring it to life. I created Firefly Brides to shine a light on the hardworking, talented vendors who make weddings here so magical. My goal is simple: to help couples find the right people, places, and inspiration to create their dream day—without the overwhelm.

Where We're Going

Firefly Brides is more than a directory—it’s becoming the go-to local wedding resource for Central Pennsylvania (and beyond). We’re building a hub filled with venue spotlights, vendor guides, real wedding inspiration, planning tips, and local insights you won’t find anywhere else.
