With its sweeping melodies, romantic storyline, and down-to-earth characters, this Broadway classic captures a kind of rustic beauty that translates perfectly into wedding inspiration.
For this final feature in our Broadway Musical Styled Shoot Series, Emerald Stone Photography (@emeraldstonellc) and an incredibly talented team of Central Pennsylvania wedding vendors transformed the Hilton Harrisburg (@hiltonhbg) into a scene straight out of the prairie. Blending western flair with bold, modern details and a warm color palette inspired by Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz, this Oklahoma!-inspired shoot brings together romance, texture, and a touch of theatrical magic.

The invitation suite and signage were designed by Persnickety Invitation Studio (@persnicketyinc), a York-based design studio known for personalized wedding stationery and thoughtful design details crafted by owner and graphic designer Melissa.
The creative vision and design concept for this Oklahoma!-inspired shoot came to life thanks to That’s It Wedding Concepts (@thatsitweddingconcepts), led by Susan Moran. Her ability to blend color, texture, and story resulted in a tablescape that felt both rustic and refined. Partnering with A to Z Rentals (ato_Z_event_rentals) and Special Occasions Collection (@specialoccasionscollection), the team layered wooden chargers, amber glassware, and bold floral accents to create a look that was equal parts Western charm and modern elegance.
Klock Entertainment (@KlockEntertainment) set the scene with creative lighting that mimicked a glowing Oklahoma sunset. The soft amber tones and shadowed silhouettes of a barn and windmill added depth and storytelling, transforming the space into a cinematic nod to the classic musical.
Mechanicsburg-based florist Jeffrey’s Flowers (@jeffreys_flowers) designed vibrant, textured arrangements that brought movement and color to every part of the shoot. Using a mix of orange and coral roses, green trick dianthus, berry stems, and fan-shaped palms, Jeffrey’s team created florals that felt lively, organic, and perfectly in tune with the Oklahoma! theme.
Baltimore-based live painter, Anton of Anton Paints (@antonpaints) added an artistic touch to the day, painting the scene in real time with expressive brushstrokes that beautifully captured its romance and energy.
Chantel Zimmerman of Illuminating Styles (@illuminating.styles) in Lititz created the bride’s soft, romantic look for this styled shoot. Her natural glam approach and effortless curls paired beautifully with the floral gown,
The floral gown paired effortlessly with the bride’s cowboy boots, blending softness with a little edge. Her bouquet tied it all together with warm, earthy tones that echoed the laid-back spirit of the day.
The bride and her bridesmaids fit seamlessly into the warm color palette of the day. Their mix of soft floral, mauve, and rose-gold tones created an effortless balance that felt natural and inviting.
Talk about a statement cake. Designed by Sweet Confections Cakes (@sweetconfectionscakes) in Harrisburg, every detail from the cowhide texture to the Western-inspired topper celebrated the theme in a way that felt fresh, playful, and beautifully executed.
The groom kept it laid back with a black jacket, jeans, and boots, creating a look that felt effortless but still put together.
The bride’s reception look was fun and flirty, featuring a short lace gown with a fitted bodice and soft tulle overlay. The delicate details and flowing cape veil added just the right touch of elegance, while her signature boots kept the look grounded in laid-back country style.
