West Side Story is a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet, set in the 1950s New York City, where the forbidden love between Tony and Maria unfolds. Drawing from the iconic Broadway musical’s vibrant energy, star-crossed love, and vintage charm, this styled shoot is a modern reimagining of Tony and Maria’s world with bold colors, dramatic florals and hopeless romance. Emerald Stone Photography and a team of extremely talented Central Pennsylvania wedding vendors transformed the Hilton Harrisburg to produce a series of styled shoots inspired by timeless hit Broadway musicals and the Pantone Color of the Year 2024 – Peach Fuzz. This three-tiered wedding cake by Sweet Confections Cakes (@sweetconfectionscakes) represents the Broadway hit sensation by incorporating all the elements of color and culture.
The tablescape yields different hues, from orange to blue to green. The copper mugs and charger plates add a nice finishing touch to bring it all together.

It’s hard to miss the vibrant orange flowers that adorn the Jeffrey’s Flowers (@jeffreys_flowers) floral arrangements decorating the tables and complimenting the bride and groom.
